I'm currently a freelance designer located in Pittsburgh. Prior to freelancing, I spent three and a half years working as a Senior Designer at a small digital firm in Los Angeles, two years as an Art Director at an award-winning brand activation agency in New York City, and a year and a half as an in-house designer for a hospital's marketing department. Before that, I studied graphic design and painting at Boston University while interning for a museum, a film production, and a national publication.
I've taken many paths in my career, all helping to establish my unique design sense. I've worked in both print and digital design and mastered both. I was classically trained in design, so my layout and typography skills are well honed and my background in painting has given me a distinguished eye for color.
In my free time, I closely follow politics (I'm a fourth generation Democratic party activist!) and read as many books as I can. I also spend time creating: I paint, draw, design, and photograph often.
I'm always looking to take on new projects and clients. Please contact me if you're interested in building something together!
